As the we get closer to our house being ready to move into I’ve been thinking more about what we’ll do with the new space. A clean slate for us to put our mark on, a beautiful family home where Taylor can grow and make memories.
This lead me to thinking of our garden. A space where Taylor and any future siblings can play and enjoy the outdoors. A place where adventures take place and imaginationscan run wild.
The thought of spending each morning, evening and weekend watching Taylor develop and grow in our new home excites me.
For the past six months we’ve been living with Phill’s family whilst waiting to move into our new build home. Giving us plenty of time to think of all the amazing things we wants to do to the place.
I’ve been putting together pinterest boards of what we see our new home being like, I think our garden will heavily feature toys. Because lets face it, I’m not green fingered and our garden will be a space for Taylor to run wild. Maybe I’ll throw in a border or pansies in for good measure, Taylor can help plant them too.
Little Tikes currently have 20% off play houses at www.littletikes.co.uk and I’m very tempted to start ticking things off of our list but am uncertain as to whether or not I should wait until we move into the house or not! I’ve already ordered a cozy coupe now we need to decide which play house will be best!
I want the garden to be somewhere fun and exciting, a space that Taylor chooses to spend time. I’d rather him grow up wanting to play in the garden than wander off outside of the house. Well, until he’s old enough to say no to the suggestion anyway.
What do you enjoy the most about your garden, are their any toddler must haves we should look at?
