As the Festive season is upon us it’s time, for those of us who like to cut things close, to start looking for gifts that our relatives will actually appreciate. It’s easy to buy some new socks or a book they’ll never read but you’d be surprised how easy it is to also give a personalised gift they’ll love.
We were given the opportunity to pick some items from GettingPersonal.co.uk who provide a vast range of products with the option to be personalised to the recipient. I love nothing more than knowing somebody has put a little bit of thought into a gift and personalisation screams out to me that somebody has really taken the time to gift me with something extra special.
We were sent the following items for review using the personalisation service and were thrilled with the speed in which they arrived. The gifts came in two separate deliveries as some items take longer to arrive than others but we had all of them within a week of placing our order.
Retro Sweet Jar: £14.99 available two sizes, with an array of different themed prints for your personalised label making them fit for all occasions. – This Personalised Retro Sweetie Jar is filed to the brim with favourites such as refreshers and flying saucers! We had this personalised with Taylor’s name, of course those of you who follow the blog will know he is definitely too young for the sweeties so mummy and daddy will have to help him out 😉 I couldn’t resist having a container personalised with is name though. It’s something you can keep and reuse each year to fill with festive treats.
Personalised Childrens Books Classic Christmas Collection: £33.99 for a set of 3 or £16.99 for singular books – Books are something I like to give as gifts, they’re an easy option and as a book worm I find them to be a great gift. However, being able to personalise them really adds to their charm. This collection of traditional looking hard backs have Taylor’s name in gold foil and hidden on images throughout with a personalised message on the inside page.
The set consists of Twelve Days of Christmas, Your Letter to Santa and My Book of Nursery Rhymes.
They’re most certainly one of those gifts to be kept and cherished forever especially as this is his first Christmas. I absolutely love these books! The only thing I was disappointed by, and this is really me being OCD picky, is that one of the 3 books is bigger than the other two so they don’t stack neatly as a set, I don’t know if this is just our set or if they all come like this. Overall they’re utterly beautiful and have the most festive look about them. I’m going to be putting them in Taylor’s Christmas Eve box so we can snuggle up with them before bed time on the night before Christmas.
Engraved Guitar Plectrum: £14.99 available in multiple designs for different occasions –
For the musical Daddy out there I couldn’t imagine anything more charming than these engraved guitar plectrums. I have no idea if they’re ideal to actually play with but the cute sentimental idea is beautiful. As this Christmas is our first as parents this instantly jumped out at me as something Phillip should have from Taylor. His Daddy definitely rocks!
Each of the above products were so simple to personalise and the process really doesn’t add to the time it take you to purchase. GettingPersonal.co.uk has a very easy to use form alongside the products giving you a guide of how many characters you may personalise a product with, you simply type in the recipients name, your message and add to basket. It was so simple and the gifts are beautiful. It’s deifintely something I can see myself using for future Christmases.
