On Tuesday we went to have Taylor weighed, he’s now 11lb 4oz, our tiny prince is starting to fill out. Just look at those chunky legs!
I snapped this picture Taylor playing in his cot one afternoon, I’d left him there to go tidy the house a little. He seemed to enjoy himself and didn’t fuss at all, but we’re definitely not ready for him to move into his own bedroom just yet!
This week I left Taylor for the first time, he spent two hours with his Grandma on Thursday. I don’t think he even missed me! Look at that smile.
On Saturday Taylor started swimming lessons with Daddy, we were worried he might scream the place down but he loved it. He didn’t make a peep and was so relaxed. I really enjoyed watching them both having fun together. A brilliant bonding experience for Daddy.
Following the success of leaving Taylor with Grandma on Thursday we were leading up to our first date night since he was born, I hadn’t been out since early December.
Phillip and I went out for a meal and to see the new Avengers film whilst the Grandparents baby sat, I couldn’t help but phone them to see how he was, it felt very strange to be without him for so long but it went well, I’ll share my experiences of leaving baby T for the first time in another post.
Overall we’ve had a fairly busy week which is unusual for us but hopefully the start of mummy and daddy being able to have the odd evening out as well as more day time activities with T now that I’ve been signing him up to various baby classes. That can only mean many more Tails of The Week to share with you!
